CollegeBachelor of Engineering Science, Johns Hopkins University EmploymentI've worked as a professional engineer with the Bechtel Power Corporation, Frederick, Md., since college graduation in 1970! I work as a Project Engineer, responsible for the engineering design of power plants. While most of my work has been in the US, the job has taken me overseas as far as Singapore and the Republic of China! MarriageI married Donna Clark, Dundalk Class of '68, in January of 1971, so we're celebrating thirty years next month! ChildrenOne son, Douglas Clark Denison, born April 10, 1986, (yeah, I know, a late start!) Grandchildrenno way. HobbiesGolfing, flyfishing, coaching Gamber youth lacrosse, (Maryland state MYLA runners-up to McDonogh in double overtime this year!) GroupsI am a registered Professional Engineer in Maryland and several other states. OtherDonna and I lived in College for a few years after getting married, while Donna got her degree in Physical Education at the University of Maryland. We moved to Sykesville in 1973, and to Westminster in 1978, and we've been there ever since. Donna's Dad died about 15 years ago, and her Mom has moved to Perry Hall. My parents still live on Liberty Parkway in Dundalk, and we get back some, but not often enough. We're still very close to classmate Nick Karbonik and his family, (wife Diane and 4 grown daughters!), and see them quite often. Would like to hear from any interested Dundalk classmates. |
