BS from Towson U in Psychology and MS in Recreation and Parks Administration from Morgan U.
After serving 26 years! in the Army Reserves and retiring from Baltimore County, I'm now on active duty in the Army Reserves. My rank and MOS is Chief Warrant Officer 4 and vessel master of a sea going tugboat.
I spent four years in a sheet metal apprenticeship at Beth Steel before going into Recreation and Parks in Baltimore County from where I retired as an Area Superintendent in 1996. For the next two years I ran a tugboat all over the Chesapeake and a Water Taxi in Baltimore before entering active duty in the USAR in 1998. My goal after retiring from the Army is to run a Water Taxi again.
I was lucky to have married Beverly Falkenhan on May 3, 1969.
Bev and I have one daughter, Gail Elizabeth who was born January 13, 1977.
I got into the five string banjo several years ago. Anyone that really knew me would know that anything to do with boating would always be a ! part of my life, from teaching celestial navigation to towing ships.
