Employment

After business college worked as secretary in various fields (medical, legal, corporate business, real estate. Sold real estate in Maryland and Florida. Entered into the design industry in 1984 where I have worked ever since (engineering firms, architectural and engineering firms). Have worked for the same A&E firms for the past 14 years.

Marriage

I was married in 1976 and divorced in 1987. Never remarried.

Children

I have one child, Amber. She is 21 years old and is a senior at Penn State University majoring in bio-chemical engineering.

Grandchildren

No grandchildren.

Hobbies

I love to read, work in the yard, movies, theater, and baking (if anyone remembers me from high school, I was always baking and bringing goodies to school).

Achievements

I served as National Secretary for an organization called "Society of Design Administration" as well as several national committees. Currently I am developing two (2) complicated databases for the firm I work for.

Groups

Society of Design Administration is a national organization, and is an affiliate of the American Institute of Architects. Its membership is comprised of support staff (administrators, office managers, marketing personnel, accounting personnel) of design firms. We have 44 chapters and approximately 800 members throughout the United States.

Other

Since graduating, I have moved several times (lived in Pennsylvania, Florida, Virginia). I love Richmond but still manage to get back to Baltimore from time to time where my family still lives.
