I have a B.A. from Towson University and an M.Ed. from Johns Hopkins.

Employment

I've been working full time as a pre-school teacher at Harford Day School, an independent school in Bel Air, MD for the past 20 years. Before then, I worked part time as a teacher for the Baltimore County Home and Hospital School and one year as a kindergarten teacher at a church school when my children were little.

Marriage

I married Steven Burnett on June 1, 1968. We are still happily together.

Children

We have two daughters, Laura (30) and Holly (28).

Laura is living and working with her husband, Andrew, in Newark, DE.

Holly lives in Towson and is a first grade teacher in Baltimore County.

Hobbies

I love shopping and listening to all kinds of music. Steve and I enjoy traveling together and we try to vacation several times a year.
